The old reservoir was too small, and after adding side supports, I replaced the 12 gallon reservoir with an 18 gallon. When the plants got bigger last year, it ran out of nutrient too quickly. Being right out in the sun, I expect a lot of evaporation and the plants are growing very quickly too, so I may have to rig some way to add capacity to the tank. The big test will come when I am away for a few days, and it will sink or swim.
